Bella Festa is a project created by Aidan Thompson and David Diamond. It is a celebration of all things Italo Disco, Synth Pop, and Cosmic sounds from all eras and galaxies.
Over the course of the last year, the duo have thrown some infamous parties at venues around Dublin such as Tengu, Wigwam, Izakaya and Hang Dai Chinese. A unique variety of oddball dance music is played throughout their sets, with a few guilty pleasures tossed in for good measure to round out the experience.
Over the past year, they have also brought their synthy goodness off home turf and further afield to Geneva, Berlin, New York, and Heidelberg to mention a few, as well as guest shows on the likes of NTS Radio, Noods & Relativa.
